There is a huge billboard placed outside a pharmacy in Mbezi beach area, Tanzania, promoting Infacare 3 growing-up milks. The slogan “We mind the health of children” and an image of a healthy baby idealise the product.
Many companies, including Aspen, deliberately disregard the 2016 Guidance on Ending the Inappropriate Promotion of Foods for Infants and Young Children welcomed in Resolution WHA 69.9  which confirms that growing-up milk is a breastmilk substitute covered by the scope of the Code and therefore should not be promoted.
