Large posters promoting Dumex infant formula and growing-up milks are displayed prominently on the windows of a mini market located on the main road in central Vientiane, Laos. Many companies, including Danone, continue to disregard the 2016 WHO Guidance which reaffirms that growing-up milk is a breastmilk substitute covered by the scope of the Code and therefore should not be promoted.
